Brian won Bloomington's Last Comic Standing this week. He wins the right to MC for National Lampoon Radio's James P. Connolly on the weekend of November 13th-15th. This is Brian's first victory at the weekly event.

Brian attributes the win to his close association with wildly popular President-Elect Barack Obama. "In the public's eye, it is difficult to tell the two of us apart. We both do comedy. We're both black. We're both married to Michelle Obama." commented Brian.

Although the win was decisive it is still hard to tell whether the margin of victory is such to be seen as a mandate for change by the people of The Funny Bone. "Until North Carolina and Missouri weigh in on the matter it will be difficult to declare total victory." claimed Patrick Roy former goalie of the Colorado Avalanche. North Carolina and Missouri have yet to report their final decision despite polls closing nearly thirty hours ago.

In the end, all that matters is Brian is now widely considered the best stand-up comedian of all time. This victory only validates that fact, silencing his lone remaining critic, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who still refuses to forgive Brian for all those days of ridicule on the set of 'Seinfeld'.
